Swansea City will go into the Christmas and New Year break on top of the Orchard Welsh Premier Women's League after they defeated Abergavenny Women 1-0 in their top of the table clash. Jodie Passmore scored the only goal of the game in the fifth minute to give the Swans their seventh victory in eight games and avenge their defeat by Abergavenny on the opening day of the season. Cardiff Met Ladies moved into the top three after running out 7-3 winners over Briton Ferry Llansawel. Met took a third minute lead through Chloe O'Connor with Claudia Meyrick equalising from the penalty spot, before Jassie Vasconcelos struck twice in an eight minute spell. Ela Roberts replied for Briton Ferry ahead of the break but an own goal in the opening minute of the second half restored the two-goal advantage. Niamh Terry gave the home side renewed hope midway through the half, before a late Robyn Pinder double and Steph Turner finally secured the points for Met. Cyncoed Ladies secured their place in the top half following a 4-0 victory over Aberystwyth Town in their mid-table clash. Grace Horrell netted the only goal of the first half from the penalty spot and she doubled Cyncoed's lead nine minutes after the interval. Fern Burrage added the third and Chloe Griffiths wrapped up the win with the final goal late on. The honours were shared at Port Talbot Town where the home side battled out a 1-1 draw with Llandudno Ladies. After a goalless first half, Jessica Hammett gave Port Talbot the lead on the hour mark and Llandudno hit back with nine minutes remaining, Louisha Doran earning her side a point.
