Tottenham Hotspur will lead the Southern Division table by three points going into the holidays following their 4-0 victory over Portsmouth.
Kelley Blanchflower was on target twice along with Bianca Baptiste and Lucia Leon to take their side's unbeaten start to ten matches.
Coventry Utd are up into second after they continued their good run of form with a 6-0 win against C & K Basildon. Alison Hall netted twice inside the opening ten minutes and went on to complete a hat-trick, while Helen Dermody, Ashleigh Neville and Amber Hughes also got on the scoresheet to help Coventry pull off a victory against the Essex side for the second Sunday in a row.
Two of the title contenders met each other at Thamesmead and it was visitors Cardiff City Ladies who were to run out 4-1 winners over Charlton Athletic. Chloe Chivers scored twice for Cardiff along with Kerry Bartlett and Hope Suominen, with Charley Clifford (see match report).
Crystal Palace moved back in to the top half, courtesy of a 3-0 victory over Swindon Town. Gemma Bryan had a great day for Palace, hitting a hat-trick to take her league goal tally into double figures for the season.
Queen's Park Rangers meanwhile claimed their first league win of the season, 2-1 away to West Ham Utd to take themselves level on points with their opponents. The Hammers led at half time through but after the break, Elly Maggs equalised on the hour mark and with fifteen minutes remaining, Jenny Critchley scored the goal which broke Rangers' winless run.
