New Zealand full back Anna Green, 26, has signed a full time professional contract with Reading FC Women until June 2018.
The left sided defender has played over 60 times for New Zealand, scoring seven goals.
Green has represented the Football Ferns at two senior World Cups (Germany 2011 and Canada 2015) and two U20's World Cups. The 26-year-old has also been part of three Olympic squads; Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Brazil 2016.
On signing for the Royals, Green said: "I've only heard good things about Reading and the professional environment you guys have here. It's tough to come up from WSL2 and to stay up here [in WSL1] is a massive achievement, so I'm excited to be involved with a club that's capable of doing this."
Reading manager Kelly Chambers added: "Anna is a great attacking player and a great athlete. She has great attributes that give us a different dimension to our team on the pitch. I can't wait to introduce her to the team and get working with her."
Meanwhile Royals midfielder Charlie Estcourt, 18, has signed her first ever full time professional contract.
The Welsh international, who progressed through the club's John Madejski Academy college programme, had spent three months on loan at Bristol City last season where she impressed Kelly Chambers.
On signing the deal, Estcourt said: "I'm very proud to sign my first pro contract with Reading. They're a very ambitious club and so am I, so I hope to help them achieve their targets."
Kelly Chambers commented: "Charlie is a very promising young player, who has already achieved so much at such a young age. She's got a great ability and has a lot of potential to develop further in the game. Charlie had a great loan spell at Bristol last season which helped with her development and I'm at excited to have her back part of my squad."
Full back Rebecca Jane has signed an 18-month extension to her contract, tying her at the club until 2019. This adds to recent deals which were signed by key first teamers Lauren Bruton and Mary Earps.
