Charlton Athletic regained second place when they ran out 5-0 winners over West Ham Utd.
The Addicks struck twice in first half injury time through Charley Clifford and Ruby Southgate and after the break, Clifford netted her second before further strikes by Kit Graham and Bupe Okeowo wrapped up the win.
Crystal Palace have attached themselves onto the leading pack of clubs following their 1-0 victory over Queen's Park Rangers. Gemma Bryan settled matters in Palace's favour with the only goal of the game.
Lewes moved themselves closer towards mid-table after they defeated Swindon Town 3-1. An own goal gave the Rookettes a first half lead which was doubled by Danielle Lane, with Steph Houston reducing the arrears on the stroke of half time. Rebecca Thompson-Abro made the game safe for Lewes with fifteen minutes remaining when she scored the third goal.
Blackburn Rovers opened up a three point lead at the top of the Northern Division after winning 2-1 away to Nottingham Forest in the only match to be played. Saffron Jordan gave Blackburn a ninth minute lead and after Charlotte Broad had equalised for Forest early in the second half, Ella Toone scored to secure a tenth win in eleven matches for Rovers.
