English defender Paige Williams is the latest recruit to join Marc Skinner's Birmingham City side.

Williams, 21, has signed a deal that will keep her with the Club until May 2018, subject to international clearance.

The exciting left back has joined after a two-year spell in Italy. Williams won Serie A and Coppa Italia with ACF Brescia in 2015/16 before moving to AGSM Verona last season.

The England Youth Intentional at Under-15, 17, 19, 20, 23 level was also a FA Cup runner up in 2014 with Everton. She joins Ellen White and Sarah Mayling in revamping Marc Skinner's side ahead of the Spring Series.

Birmingham are also delighted to announce that defender Kerys Harrop has committed her future to the Club. The experienced 26-year-old has put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep her under contract until May 2018.

Harrop, who is the Club's longest serving player, has played in all 86 league fixture's since the WSL began. The former England Under-19 and Under-23 international - who was a member of England's UEFA Under-19 Championship winning team in 2009 - came through the Club's Centre of Excellence and has been with Blues Ladies for the past 16 years.

Harrop was a key figure in the Club's 2012 FA Cup win and their run the to the 2013-14 UEFA Women's Champions League semi final. She has also featured in the 2011, 2012 and 2016 Continental Cup finals.

Harrop's new contract is another boost for Marc Skinner's side ahead of the forthcoming Spring Series.
