Birmingham sign Reading midfielder
 Women's Football WSL1 News - 10 Feb 2017
Birmingham City manager Marc Skinner has made his fourth close season signing by adding midfielder Emma Follis to his squad.
The 25-year-old has signed from Reading FC
Women for an undisclosed fee. Follis will be part of the Club's Spring Series and the following 2017-18 Winter Season that ends in May.
Follis spent fourteen years with Aston Villa Ladies and graduated from the Club's Centre of Excellence. The former England Under-19 and Under-23 international went on to join Reading in 2015 and made 39 appearances in total, scoring 19 goals as well as helping her team to win the FA WSL 2 title in her first season with the club.
Follis met up with the squad for the first time earlier this week and joined fellow new signings Ellen White, Paige Williams and Sarah Mayling.
This week, Marc Skinner's side became the first ever Club to visit and train at Adidas' Headquarters in Stockport. The afternoon, which included a range of activities, was through the excellent relationship with the Club's official technical kit supplier.
The First Team were firstly given a brief tour of the fantastic facility. Training then followed in the Reebok Crossfit box with three five-a-side teams battling it out on the new state-of-the-art 4G pitch.
The Ladies were then treated to an afternoon session of yoga in their on-site gym.
Adidas became the Club's official kit supplier this season after signing a long term partnership with both the men and Ladies sides.
