Blackburn open up lead

Blackburn Rovers have taken a firm grip on the Northern Division title race after beating second placed Middlesbrough 5-1.
Ellie Stewart, Ella Toone, Faye McCoy, Lynda Shepherd and Natasha Fenton scored the goals which take Blackburn six points clear at the top, while 'Boro's consolation came from Emma Foster.
Stoke City meanwhile moved up into fourth position, their highest of the season to date, after Hollie Gibson and Anne-Marie Atherton gave them a 2-1 victory over Derby County, who replied through Hannah Ward.
Leicester City Women follow on after sharing a 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest, for whom Katie Lowder netted twice. Alex Madden and Lauren Impey replied with the goals for Leicester.
Huddersfield Town have moved themselves into mid-table on the back of a 2-0 win against Newcastle Utd. Kate Mallin set Huddersfield on their way to their fourth goal of the season with a goal in each half.
