Swansea City have gone seven points clear at the top of the Orchard Welsh Premier Women's League following their 4-1 win away to Llandudno Ladies.
Jodie Passmore and Stacey John ensured that the Swans were two goals ahead at the interval and although Sofie Owen reduced the arrears early in the second half, John and Passmore both completed their braces to clinch Swansea's eleventh win in twelve league matches.
Cardiff City FC meanwhile moved to within one point of second placed Abergavenny Women, who did not play, by beating Briton Ferry Llansawel 4-0. City netted three times in four first half minutes, Alicia Davies scoring either side of a Kanesha Underdown goal, before Shannon Evans wrapped up the win with eleven minutes remaining.
Cardiff Met Ladies are a further point adrift after scoring seven times without reply against Aberystwyth Town 7-0. Rebecca Mathis gave Met an early lead with Chloe O'Connor, Lois Regan and Robyn Pinder adding further goals ahead of half time. O'Connor scored her second midway through the second half and Erin Murray added a late double for the reigning Champions.
Rhyl Ladies claimed their second victory of the season, coming from behind to win 2-1 away to Port Talbot Town. Jesci Hare did give Port Talbot the lead after four minutes with Tonicha Dickens equalising shortly afterwards, before Rachel Lloyd scored what proved to be the winner, just before half time.
