Huddersfield Town are the new leaders of the Northern Division after running out 8-0 winners away to Brighouse Town. Kathryn Halligan led the scoring with a hat-trick, Ella Harris and Amy Broomhead each contributed a brace and Tara Duce was also on target. Bianca Owens was another hat-trick scorer, with Lindsey Halbrook and Lauren Farrow adding the others as Middlesbrough defeated Hull City 5-1 and Bradford City edged out Guiseley Vixens by the odd goal in nine thanks to a four-goal haul by Laura Elford and Rachel Sherrard.
In the Southern Division, Tottenham Hotspur power on at the top after winning 4-0 away to Queen's Park Rangers. Ronnell Humes was on target twice along with Belle Shannon and Shakira Waithe. Charlton Athletic are keeping up the chase in second place, they defeated C & K Basildon 4-2 thanks to goals from Emily Ashcroft, Maddie Reynolds, Beth Weller and Florence Jackson. Portsmouth meanwhile cemented themselves in third place by running out 5-0 winners over Denham Utd.
The FA WSL Development League was also greatly affected by the bad weather and international call ups, with only one match being played throughout the two divisions.
This took place in the Northern Division where third placed Manchester City defeated Aston Villa 5-1 and they are now just three points off the pace. Brenna McPartlan and Beth O'Donnell each scored twice for City and Katie Kitching added the other, with Nicola Potts scoring Villa's consolation.
