Forfar Farmington head a trio of clubs on nine points at the top of the SWPL 2 table following their 5-3 victory over Motherwell on Sunday.
Forfar got off to a great start with Cheryl Kilcoyne and Nicola Davidson putting them two ahead at half time and after the break, Robyn Smith, Kilcoyne and Megan McCarthy added further goals to put them five up. Motherwell rallied and strikes from Nicole Goodwin, Pamela Liddell and Stacey Cook reduced the arrears but they were unable to prevent Forfar from continuing their perfect start.
Hearts defeated Jeanfield Swifts 2-0 to keep themselves in second place. Hearts took the lead on the stroke of half time when Stacey Hutchison scored from close range and midway through the second half, Ashley Carse curled home the second to seal a hard earned victory.
Glasgow Girls are the third team on maximum points after winning 1-0 away to Buchan Ladies. Samantha McPherson scored the only goal of the game on the hour mark to hand her side their third straight win.
Edinburgh University Hutchison Vale registered their first points of the season when beating East Fife 3-0. All of the goals came during the first half, Hannah Craig putting them in front before Nichola Sturrock and Karen Hanson added further goals shortly before the interval.
