Swansea City kept up the pace at the top of the Orchard Welsh Premier Women's League as they repeated their 4-0 victory against Rhyl Ladies of seven days earlier.
Stacey John gave Swansea the lead midway through the first half and two goals in a three minute spell during the second half, from Sophie Hancocks and John with her second, put them in control with Katie Hosford rounding off the scoring for the Swans during the second half.
Cardiff Met Ladies beat local rivals Cyncoed Ladies 2-0 to remain nine points behind leaders Swansea, and with two games in hand. Both of the goals came during the first half, Chloe O'Connor putting them ahead after fourteen minutes and Steph Turner added the second ahead of half time.
Abergavenny Women hold on to third place despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Briton Ferry Llansawel, but their remaining title chances are at an end. In fact, Briton Ferry raced into a two-goal first half lead thanks to Laura May Walkley and Lucy Powell but their hopes of a first WPWL victory were dashed after the break when Ceri Hudson and Lauren Boyd replied to earn Abergavenny a share of the spoils.
Cardiff City FC meanwhile won 1-0 away to Aberystwyth Town to close the gap on the top three. A well contested game was settled when Danielle Green netted the only goal of the game, five minutes before half time.
