Newly crowned Champions Blackburn Rovers were held to a 2-2 draw by Leicester City Women, who became only the second team to take points off them this season.
It looked to be normal service as Jess Holbrook and Alex Taylor sent Blackburn into a two-goal lead, but Paige Crossman brought Leicester back into the game just before the break. Crossman went on to score a second late on to earn Leicester a share of the spoils and they remain fully in contention for a top three place.
Fylde Ladies are the team which is occupying third place and they have opened up a little ground between themselves and the chasing teams but winning 2-1 away to Bradford City. Yasmine Swarbrick netted both goals for the Coasters, with the home side replying through Laura Elford.
West Bromwich Albion ran out 3-1 winners over Huddersfield Town to lift themselves up the table. Abi Cottam fired Albion into a sixth minute lead, with Emily Heckler equalising just after the half hour. Eleanor Sargent put Albion back in front shortly before half time and Olivia Mitcham wrapped up the points with the third goal, ten minutes into the second half.
