Southern Division title winners Tottenham Hotspur completed their league campaign with a 7-0 victory over West Ham Utd. Bianca Baptiste and Wendy Martin each scored twice along with Lucia Leon, Katie O'Leary and Rhianna Soobadoo. Coventry Utd end up in second place, four points behind Spurs, following their 3-1 success away to Portsmouth. Callan Barber, Jade Brook and Natasha Lynch were all on target for Coventry, with the home side's consolation coming from Alexandra Iusan. Cardiff City Ladies finish third for the third time in four years after they won 1-0 at Crystal Palace. Kerry Bartlett grabbed the only goal of the game to ensure that the South Wales side once again equal their highest ever final position. There were plenty of goals on offer at C & K Basildon where the home side edged out Charlton Athletic by the odd goal in seven. Therese Addison netted twice for C & K along with Jay Blackie and Zoe Rushen, while Charlton replied through a Kit Graham brace and Grace Coombs. The important clash at the other end of the table resulted in a 2-0 win for Queen's Park Rangers against Swindon Town. Joanna Blodgett and Juliette Denny scored either side of half time to seal the victory for Rangers at the County Ground but it was not quite enough to move them off the bottom at the expense of the home side, and their fate will be decided in the next few weeks.
