The final match of the season was played in the Southern Division on Sunday and it resulted in a 6-1 victory for C & K Basildon against title winners Tottenham Hotspur. Therese Addison, Amy Nash, Zoe Rushen, Sophie Rhodes, Paige Wakefield and Lacie Winsor-Claydon all scored a goal apiece for C & K.
Bristol City produced a powerful first half display to beat Arsenal 4-0 in the FA WSL Development League Cup Final at St George's Park and lift the trophy for the first time. All four goals came in the first half, a long range strike from Aimee Palmer giving City a tenth minute lead and Katie Jones headed in the second from a corner midway through the first half. Paige Sawyer further extended their lead a minute later when she finished off a good move and Lauren Hemp drilled a 20-yard shot home for the fourth on the stroke of half time.
Liverpool meanwhile captured the Northern Division title when they defeated Durham Women 4-1. A point would have sufficed for the Reds to move above Birmingham City and be crowned as Champions but they suffered an early setback when the Wildcats took a fourth minute lead through Anna Young, which they held until half time. Cassia Pike levelled the scores early in the second half and she then netted her second to put them ahead, before Lizzie Earle and Meg Taylor went on to add further goals and crown the victory for Liverpool.
