Glasgow City kept their place at the top of the SWPL 1 table with a 5-0 win away to Spartans.
City took the lead after five minutes when Hayley Lauder lobbed home the first goal, before Sam Kerr and Abbi Grant also got on the scoresheet ahead of half time. Leanne Crichton scored for the first time since returning to the club from Notts County and Leanne Ross rounding off the scoring.
Hibernian remain one point behind in second place after they defeated Stirling University 2-0. After a goalless first half, captain Joelle Murray marked her return from injury by giving Hibs the lead with fifteen minutes remaining and Rachel McLauchlan wrapped up the points with the second.
Celtic got back to winning ways with a 4-0 success against Hamilton Academical, a result which strengthens their third position. Kirsty Howat ensured that they led at half time and Ruesha Littlejohn added the second, midway through the second half. Jamie Lee Napier made it three via a 25-yard strike, before Littlejohn completed her double with nine minutes remaining.
Rangers meanwhile moved themselves away from the bottom two places by winning 4-1 against Aberdeen, who remain at the foot of the table. Lisa Swanson gave them a twelfth minute lead from the penalty spot and she turned provider for the second, setting up Hayley Sinclair to score, with Hannah Robertson also on target before half time. Aberdeen pulled one back at the end of the first half and struck the post as they sought to bring themselves right back into the game, but Rangers put the result beyond doubt when Sinclair scored her second.
