As part of a restructure of the Senior Team Management ahead of the 2017-2018 season, Nottingham Forest Ladies FC are pleased to announce the appointment of Nigel Hudson as Reserve Team Manager.
Nigel, a current UEFA B candidate, joined Forest Ladies in the 2012-13 season and has gone on to manage the U13's, U15's, U16's and at U18's where he has guided the side to the treble in the last two seasons, going unbeaten this season.
With vast experience in installing the core values that Forest Ladies look for in its players at a young age, Nigel has seen many players make the transition from Juniors to Seniors over the last few seasons, progression which he will be looking to continue in the forthcoming season.
Nigel is joined by Coach Steve Ganley who has proven to be an excellent member of the U18's management team this season. He is always willing to meet any challenges head on and is excited at the opportunity to improve and progress as a coach.
Nigel commented: "I'm delighted to have been appointed Reserve Team Manager for the 2017-18 season and I'm relishing the challenge that lies ahead.
"The club has ambitious plans and has set the bar high in terms of vision and what it wants to achieve, I'm very excited to be part of that vision, there's a lot of hard work to be done and I can't wait to get started!"
Club Chairperson David Shelton added: "Nigel has already proven himself a highly successful and charismatic manager and coach at Forest Ladies. He and Steve will be tremendous assets to our new look senior set up, more detail of which will be announced in due course."
