London Bees are delighted to announce that Lucy Loomes has signed a new deal with the club which sees her contract extended for the 2017-18 season.
Lucy began her journey with the Bees in 2014 in the development squad before making first team appearances. She scored the first ever London Bees goal in the FA Women's Super League in 2014, and the first goal ever scored in WSL 2.
She departed in 2016 to join Millwall Lionesses before making a return to the club for the FA WSL Spring Series campaign.
Lucy commented on her extension: "I am really pleased to have extended my contract with London Bees.
"I can't wait for the new season to get started, we are ready and raring to go, and looking forward to showing the graft and improvements made in pre-season."
Head Coach Luke Swindlehurst has stated: "I'm delighted Lucy has extended her stay with the club and confident she will have a big impact on the team.
"We are moving forward in all areas and I'm pleased Lucy has committed her future to London Bees. Her attitude and enthusiasm for football is infectious and I like to work with players who just love football.
"Lucy, although still young, has been a first team regular for a few seasons and now it's her chance to really step up to the next level.
"We will all work hard to help Lucy achieve her personal ambitions as well as collective success for the team this season and beyond."
