Holders Hibernian booked their place in the semi finals of the SSE Scottish Women's Cup after beating Glasgow Girls 9-0.
Lisa Robertson and Katey Turner each hit hat-tricks to spearhead the victory and they were joined on the scoresheet by Emma Brownlie, Chelsea Cornet and Kirsty Smith.
Glasgow City also came through an awkward tie away to lower division opposition, winning 6-0 away to Jeanfiekl Swifts. Noelle Murray opened the scoring just before the half hour and Katie McCabe added a quickfire double, before Abbie Grant made it four on the stroke of half time. Joanne Love put them further ahead after the break and McCabe rounded off the scoring when she completed her hat-trick.
Only one of the quarter final ties was an all-SWPL 1 affair, at Hamilton Academical where visitors Rangers ran out 3-0 winners. The first half ended goalless but ten minutes into the second half, Rangers took the lead when Amy Muir scored from a free kick. An own goal by the unfortunate Gill Inglis made it two on the hour and Hayley Sinclair sealed the win with the third, fifteen minutes from time.
The only team left in the competition from outside the top flight are SWPL 2 table toppers Forfar Farmington, who won 2-1 away to Cumbernaukl Colts of SWFL Division One South. Sarah Wardlaw gave them home side a dream start when she gave them the lead with twelve minutes on the clock and Cumbernauld remained in front until shortly before half time, when Laura Parsley grabbed an equaliser. The match was settled with a goal early in the second half when unlucky Cumbernauld goalkeeper Angela McGann fell over the line as she claimed a Julia Scott corner and Forfar held on to continue their own excellent season with a place in the Cup semi finals.
