Five more for Gemma in Palace victory
 Women's Football WPL South News - 12 Sep 2017
Crystal Palace continued their goal laden start to the season, scoring seven times without reply away to Swindon Town.
Gemma Bryan is in double figures for the campaign already as she bagged herself a five-goal haul, while Stef Simmons weighed in with a brace.
Palace still head the table on goal difference from Charlton Athletic who were 1-0 winners at Portsmouth. In a meeting between two sides starting on maximum points, Kit Graham scored the only goal of the game in injury time to give the Addicks their third straight win.
C & K Basildon defeated West Ham Utd 3-0 and move up into third place, two points off the early pace. Angela Addison, Jay Blackie and Zoe Rushen were all on target as C & K kept up their good start to the campaign.
Gillingham meanwhile ran out 4-0 winners away to Queen's Park Rangers. Jenny Newman and Danielle Farmer both scored to give the Gills a two-goal half time lead and after the break, Jade Keogh made it three before Newman completed her double.
Lewes registered their first league win of the season and are in the top half of the table, after a second minute goal from Rebecca Carter earned them a 1-0 victory against Coventry Utd.
Chichester City came away from Cardiff City Ladies with a 5-2 win under their belts, which sees them pick up their first points of the season. Charley Wilson-Blakely was on target twice along with Jenna Fowlie, Jess Lewry and an own goal, while Caitlin Morris and Cori Williams replied for the home side.
