Blackburn Rovers maintained their good start with a 2-1 win away to Huddersfield Town, which sees them replace the home side at the top of the Northern Division table.
Huddersfield took the lead just before half time through Kate Mallin but in the second half, Jess Holbrook and Kaylea Cunliffe turned the match around in Blackburn's favour.
Blackburn have a lead of two points over second placed Nottingham Forest, who won 1-0 against Derby County. Hazzana Parnell scored the only goal of the game for Forest, just before the hour mark.
Fylde Ladies made it two wins out of two when beating Guiseley Vixens 2-0. Lauren Davies put the Coasters in front on the quarter hour, with Danielle Young adding the second with nine minutes remaining.
Leicester City Women and Middlesbrough occupy the next two positions after 'Boro won their meeting 2-1. Ellie Dobson's first half strike for Middlesbrough was quickly cancelled out by Leigh Dugmore, before Emily Scarr grabbed the winner ten minutes from time.
Bradford City notched up their first victory of the season, a 4-1 success against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Jade Cross gave Wolves the lead on the half hour and they remained ahead for much of the game, until Ellie White equalised with twelve minutes remaining. Charlotte Stuart then put Bradford ahead for the first time and Abigail Lee sealed the points with a late double.
Stoke City were another side to win for the first time, 5-0 away to West Bromwich Albion. Ashleigh Hayes opened the scoring after eleven minutes and Louise Roberts added a second just before half time. Hannah Keryakoplis bagged a second half double and Natasha Tezgel headed home the final goal.
