Huddersfield Town are still leading the way in the fledgling Northern Division table after scoring ten times without reply past Brighouse Town. Ella Harris led the scoring with a six-goal haul, Amy Broomhead weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Jodie Hunter and Beth Allen. Blackburn Rovers keep pace with them after Ellie Doggett (2), Alex Taylor (2), Kayleigh McDonald (2), Georgia Stevens, Hannah Walsh, Megan Taylor and Leanne Prescott gave them a 10-1 victory over Hull City. Newcastle Utd are a third team on six points; they beat Sheffield Utd 7-0, Siobhan Jones hitting a hat-trick along with Abbie Gilchrist (2), Christina Deverdics and Imogen Longcake. Ellie Gutcher scored twice and Harriet Dryden the other for Middlesbrough as they notched up a second win, 3-1 against Bradford City, and Bolton Wanderers defeated Leeds Utd 2-1 thanks to a Naomi Greene double.
Stoke City kept up their good start in the Midland Division by beating West Bromwich Albion 6-0, Abbie Iddenden and Beth Roberts each netting twice along with Sophie Taylor and Freya Tan. Loughborough Foxes also defeated Burton Albion by the same scoreline, courtesy of doubles from Laura Dexter, Tiana Hicks and Libbie-Mae Taylor. Coventry Utd completed a trio of teams level on points at the top after Amber Downs (2), Lauren Garner, Jade Mellor and Ellie White gave them a 5-1 victory over Sporting Khalsa. Long Eaton Utd belatedly started their season in style with a 9-3 success away to TNS Ladies, Viki Adam leading the way with a six-goal haul and the others came from Alyss-Anya Hill (2) and Gracie Burrows. Kim Farrow (2), Moriah McIntosh and Morgan Bird saw Leicester City Women to a 4-0 win against Derby County and Cardiff City Ladies won for the first time, 5-3 at Nottingham Forest thanks to Kate Bennett, Daisy Evan-Watkins, Monet Legall, Laura Williams and Zoe Atkins.
Portsmouth are setting the early pace in the Southern Division following their 3-1 victory over Lewes, their markswomen were Eshe Johnson, Jade Simmons and Charmaine True. West Ham Utd netted eleven times without reply past Queen's Park Rangers in their opening game, Julie Meifald netting four times and Whitney Locke contributing a hat-trick along with Belle Shannon (2), Portia Walker and an own goal. Lily Mellors' hat-trick, Eliza Diaz and Karissa Rodney saw C & K Basildon to a 5-1 win at Milton Keynes Dons and Charlton Athletic defeated Crystal Palace 4-1with goals from Maisie Joyce (2), Elizabeth O'Callaghan and Emma Sherwood.
