Yeovil Town Ladies FC announce that Helen Bleazard has taken the decision to step back from her playing career for the immediate future.
Bleazard, who has made 96 WSL appearances, will continue in her role as Head of Youth and coach within the Under 14's, but no longer as a player at the club.
She joined Yeovil's youth section at 14 and then spent time at Bristol City, Bristol Academy and Chelsea and a brief spell at Keynsham Town prior to returning in 2014. Helen was a key player in the club's promotion to WSL1 and will be remembered as the Yeovil girl who made it to the top flight with her hometown club.
Initially starting as a winger, Helen - who is a senior Welsh international - has played in a variety of positions since rejoining the club and appeared at left back in the Lady Glovers' first ever match in WSL 1 against Manchester City last Sunday.
