Middlesbrough are in great form right now and their sixth successive victory, 3-0 against Stoke City, keeps them four points clear at the top of the Northern Division.
Millie Bell gave 'Boro the lead just before the half hour and they went on to add further goals either side of half time through Bianca Owens and Emily Scarr.
Nottingham Forest still head the chasing teams in second but were made to work hard for their 1-0 win away to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Trina Greaves netted the only goal of the game for Forest, midway through the first half.
Leicester City Women ended their run of four winless games with a 3-2 victory over Huddersfield Town and this result has taken them above their opponents and into fourth place. Huddersfield led 2-1 at the break thanks to Hannah Campbell and Brittany Sanderson but Natalie Johnson netted her second to level things again for Leicester, who went on to grab a winning goal through Leigh Dugmore.
Derby County remain in mid-table following their 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion. Both goals came in the second half, Sophie Hull giving Albion the lead, with Karagh Tait replying to earn Derby a share of the spoils.
Guiseley Vixens are off the bottom after their derby match against Bradford City ended level at 2-2. Bradford took the lead through a spectacular long range strike from Charlotte Stuart, before Guiseley recovered to lead at the break thanks to Emily Scott and Danica Roberts. Bradford hit back in the second half with Laura Elford equalising via a header.
