Huddersfield Town ended the winning run of Northern Division leaders Middlesbrough with a stunning 3-0 victory, which takes them back into fourth place in the table.
Katie Nutter netted a brace to put her side two goals ahead at the interval and an own goal sealed the points for Huddersfield with seven minutes remaining.
Fylde Ladies meanwhile preserved their unbeaten record by winning 1-0 away to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Natasha Flint settled matters for the Coasters with the only goal of the game, six minutes before half time.
One match was played in the Southern Division on Sunday, Coventry Utd moving into the top half of the table with a 2-1 win away to West Ham Utd. The Hammers went into the game on the back of a fine midweek success against leaders Charlton Athletic but it was Coventry who took a 20th minute lead through Alison Hall. West Ham hit back to equalise before the break, Andreya Ezekiel-Meade scoring, but Coventry - and Hall - were to have the final say and she netted her second goal to give her side the points.
