Blackburn Rovers have gone three points clear at the top of the Northern Division following their 4-0 success away to Bolton Wanderers. Doubles from Georgia Stevens and Leanne Prescott took Blackburn to their fifth straight win but Middlesbrough lost a little ground as they were beaten 4-1 by Guiseley Vixens, for whom Fiona Worts hit a hat-trick and Nikki Berko added the other. Kayleigh Bamforth, Melissa Griffiths and Emily Starkie scored the goals as Brighouse Town won for the first time, 3-1 against Hull City.
Stoke City regained the leadership of the Midland Division with a 4-0 victory at Sporting Khalsa in which Freya Tan, Jamilla Palmer, Abbie Iddenden and Rebecca Arnold all scored. Coventry Utd are back in second after drawing 2-2 with Loughborough Foxes, Ellie White and Jasmine Ancell netting their goals with Nicola Russell and Lucy Coppin replying. Cardiff City Ladies completed a trio of teams level on points at the top by beating West Bromwich Albion 2-1, Monet Legall and Cori Williams were on target. Ellie Aston, Sianna Bennett, Shannon Henson, Charlotte Steggles and Morgan Bird were the markswomen for Leicester City Women in their 5-1 success against TNS Ladies and they are just one point off the pace. Derby County scored seven times without reply past Long Eaton Utd thanks to Danielle Oxley (2), Kira Rai (2), Amber-Leigh Denny, Georgia Lawton and Molly Matthews, meanwhile a solitary goal from Zoe Meyrick gave Nottingham Forest the points against Burton Albion.
Portsmouth opened up a lead of five points in the Southern Division by winning 2-0 at Crystal Palace with goals from Sharna Capel-Watson and Demi Edwards. West Ham Utd defeated Milton Keynes Dons 6-1, Stephaney Bent and Julie Melfald each scoring twice along with Whitney Locke and Belle Shannon.
In the Northern Division of the FA WSL Development League, Sunderland staged a second half fightback to earn themselves a 2-2 draw against Sheffield FC and preserve their unbeaten start to the season. Sheffield raced into a two-goal lead at the break thanks to a brace from Melissa Johnson but Bridget Galloway and Katie Barker hit back to give the Lady Black Cats a share of the spoils. Birmingham City meanwhile recorded their first victory, 2-1 against Everton with goals from Rosie Weaver and Laura Davies.
Milllwall Lionesses are the new table toppers in the Southern Division following their 2-2 draw with Watford. Millwall twice took the lead through Onyi Echegini and Freya Bailes, with Watford hitting back on each occasion with equalisers from Cherrelle Albert and Danielle Puddefoot. Reading FC Women ran out 7-2 winners over Chelsea to join the pack who are one point behind Millwall, Rachel Furness, Lauren Bruton and Sophie O'Rourke each netting twice with an own goal completing the scoring. Chloe Gilroy (2), Olivia Fergusson (2) and Holly Chandler meanwhile gave Bristol City a 5-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur and they are also on six points. Yeovil Town claimed their first win, 3-2 against Oxford Utd courtesy of a Chloe Melton brace and Megan Robinson.
