Blackburn up to second
 Women's Football WPL North News - 25 Oct 2017
Blackburn Rovers moved into second place in the Northern Division and made it five wins out of five when beating West Bromwich Albion 2-0.
Natasha Fenton and Saffron Jordan scored the goals for Blackburn who are three points behind leaders Middlesbrough, and with three games in hand.
Leicester City Women slip back to third after they went down to a 4-3 defeat at home to fast improving Stoke City. Leigh Dugmore gave Leicester the lead, with Stoke hitting back to lead at the break through Hannah Keryakoplis and Rachael Ball. Sophie Domingo quickly levelled matters after the break and Rosie Axten then put them in front, before the see-saw finally swung Stoke's way as they took the points with late goals from Ashleigh Hayes and Kelsey Richardson.
No matches were played in the Southern Division on Sunday.
