AFC Wimbledon open up lead
 Women's Football WPL Division 1 South East News - 25 Oct 2017
Northern Division One
The honours were even as Newcastle Utd and Liverpool Marshalls Feds battled out a 1-1 draw in the only match played. Charlotte Gill gave the Feds a second minute lead and a win would have taken them back into the top three, but Jessica Foster equalised for Newcastle who are in mid-table.
Midlands Division One
Sheffield Utd have leapfrogged TNS Ladies into third place after beating them 4-0 in the solitary match in the division on Sunday. Nat Shaw netted a first half brace to ensure the Blades were two goals ahead at the break, before they crowned the victory with second half strikes from Kim Brown and Tania Marsden.
South East Division One
AFC Wimbledon have gone four points clear at the top of the table following their 1-0 success away to Cambridge Utd. Becky Sargent's first half goal turned out to be enough to earn the Dons their seventh victory in successive league matches.
