The Jersey FA will host Sheffield United Ladies in a friendly match at Springfield Stadium.
The match will take place on Saturday 25th November, with a 4.30pm kick off.
The two clubs faced each other in April of this year in a historic fixture played at Sheffield United stadium, Bramall Lane. Sheffield United ran out 2-1 winners in what was a tightly contested match.
This fixture comes as Jersey FA announces the full time appointments of Jodie Botterill and Daniel Seviour as joint Head Coaches of the Jersey FA women's team. They will be supported by Jonathan le Fondre and Fiona McKinnon.
Joint Head Coach Jodie Botterill said: "I'm excited and honoured to be taking on the role as joint head coach with Daniel Seviour. I have been a part of this team for over fifteen years and I've always been extremely proud to wear the badge on my chest. I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead and working with the current players and future players who have progressed through the Capita Player Development Centre.
"Our coaching team enjoyed the experience of the 2017 NatWest Island Games held in Gotland and are looking forward to working with the team. Daniel Seviour brings with him a lot of experience and knowledge of the game. His love of the game is infectious and he inspires players and coaches around him to do better. I'm also extremely pleased that also have Jonathan le Fondre on board, who is going to be the Goalkeeper Coach. He did a fantastic job with the goalkeepers during the Island games and brings with him a lot of knowledge and expertise of the game. Finally, we have added Fiona McKinnon to the backroom team. Fiona has come into the coaching team after being involved with the team for a long time. Fiona knows the players very well, many of the players look up to her, she is another great asset to the team.
"As a group we are looking forward to linking up with the players again and the fixture against Sheffield is the perfect start for us. We put in a good, solid performance against them in March and we will be looking to do the same again in November."
This fixture comes as Jersey FA prepare for ‘Girls Football Month initiative' in November. Community Coach for Girls, Lucy Even said: "We are planning a series of opportunities for girls of all ages to participate in local football during November and we will be encouraging them to come and support the Jersey Women."
