C & K Basildon opened up the Southern Division title race with a 2-1 victory over leaders Charlton Athletic.
Angela Addison and April Bowers scored the goals for C & K, with Charlton's consolation coming from Charlotte Gurr.
Charlton's lead at the top has been trimmed to four points by second placed Lewes, with C & K a further point adrift in third. The Rookettes ran out 7-0 winners over Swindon Town with seven different players getting on the scoresheet. Rebecca Carter opened the scoring midway through the first half, with Charlotte Owen and Avilla Bergin also finding the net before the interval. Rachel Palmer stretched their lead after the break and they went on to add further goals through Darcey James, Sarah Kempson and Danielle Lane.
Coventry Utd are continuing to gather momentum and they have gone into the top four following their 2-0 success away to Portsmouth. After a goalless first half, Jade Brook gave Coventry the lead three minutes after the restart and Amber Hughes sealed the points with the second goal.
