Fylde Ladies were pushed all the way by Burton Albion before eventually going through with a 3-2 win in the Premier League Plate.
Sophie Charlton gave Fylde an early lead which was cancelled out by an own goal, before Lauren Davies put them back in front on the half hour. Sophie Cordon levelled things again five minutes into the second half but a late strike by Hollie Kelsh proved to be decisive for the Coasters.
The two unbeaten teams in Northern Division One came face to face in the Plate and it was Hull City who registered an impressive 5-1 victory over Morecambe. Katie Thompson netted twice for Hull along with Rachael Ackroyd, Liberty Bott and Hope Knight, the home side's consolation coming from Melissa Brown.
West Ham Utd are also in the last sixteen following their 3-1 victory over local rivals Queen's Park Rangers. Chloe Burr and Amber Stobbs both scored to give the Hammers a two-goal lead at the break and although Katie Knell reduced the arrears for Rangers early in the second half, Chenise Austin wrapped up the win for West Ham with their third.
Crewe Alexandra survived a second half comeback from Mossley Hill to win 3-2 and book their place in the next round. Beth Grice and Leanne Derry gave Crewe a two-goal lead inside the opening twenty minutes but after the break, Mossley fought their way back into the game thanks to Eve Davenport and Jodie Mortimer. Parity lasted just two minutes though as Amanda Fallon scored what turned out to be the winner for Crewe.
Newcastle Utd meanwhile made it through with a 2-0 victory over Radcliffe Olympic, which was given to them by a brace from Steph Ord.
