Plymouth Argyle claimed the scalp of Southern Division side Chichester City with a 3-1 victory to go through to the last sixteen of the Premier League Cup.
Natasha Knapman netted a goal in each half for the South West Division One high fliers and Tori Marks was also on target, with Chichester's consolation coming from Jade Widdows.
Guiseley Vixens belied league positions in the Northern Division to win 3-2 against Huddersfield Town following a superb second half fightback. Huddersfield had looked to be on their way to victory when Katie Nutter and Sarah Danby netted either side of half time but Guiseley had other ideas and after Ebony Njie and Nikki Berko both scored in a five-minute spell to level the scores, Emily Scott grabbed a late winner to send her team into the last sixteen.
Cardiff City Ladies are chasing a third appearance in the Final in recent years and did their cause no harm by beating Leyton Orient 3-1. All of the goals came during the second half, Cori Williams netting twice for Cardiff along with Ella Powell, with Leyre Bastyr replying.
Leicester City Women also advanced with a 3-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers. The Foxes led for much of the game through Rosie Axten's early goal before adding further strikes in the last fifteen minutes through Olivia Mitcham and Axten, with her second.
Jodie Redgrave led the scoring with a hat-trick as Brighouse Town defeated Chester-le-Street Town 5-1. Aimi Beresford and Charlotte Proud added the other goals, with the Cestrians responding with a strike from Nichole Goundry-Havery.
