The top of the table clash in the Northern Division went the way of Huddersfield Town, who went above Blackburn Rovers on goal difference after beating them 1-0 with a goal from Lucy Sowerby. Middlesbrough are in third place but level on points with the top two as they scored nine times without reply past Sheffield Utd. Beth McIlvenny, Ellie Gutcher and Jasmine Pearson each bagged braces along with Savanna Robson, Ashleigh Coyle and an own goal. Jessica Ellison hit a hat-trick along with Christina Deverdics (2), Amy Hargrave (2) and Abbie Gilchrist for Newcastle Utd in their 8-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers. Guiseley Vixens won 9-2 at Brighouse Town thanks to Sophie Hawkins (2), Ellie Parkin, Elizabeth White, Kirstie Hunt, Lucy Ogden, Milly Ash, Demi Wisher and Megan Maxted. Hull City meanwhile defeated Leeds Ladies 7-1 with a four-goal haul from Rebecca Beech, Eleanor Robinson, Alice Stewart and Fern Lazenby.
In the Midland Division, Coventry Utd moved up into second place, level on points with leaders Stoke City and Cardiff City Ladies, after they won 5-1 at Sporting Khalsa with goals from Ellie White (2), Jade Mellor, Sophie Bourton and Katie Cornish. Gabriella Foulkes scored the only goal of the game as Leicester City Women beat Loughborough Foxes 1-0 and West Bromwich Albion ran out 9-0 winners over Burton Albion, Shannon Kelly and Marianne Taho each hitting hat-tricks along with Seanna McCann-Lloyd, Rebecca Gompertz and Indianna Totty.
Portsmouth made it six wins out of six in the Southern Division when they defeated Milton Keynes Dons 2-1 with goals from Jade Simmons and Kayleigh Tonks. Pompey now head the table by five points from Charlton Athletic, who won 10-1 against AFC Wimbledon. Beth Weller was on target four times for the Addicks along with Maisie Joyce (2), Emily Ashcroft, Lauren Parsons, Georgia Pearch and Monica Manez. Crystal Palace moved above C & K Basildon into third after beating them 2-1 with Isha Kamara and Mary Robinson on target. Lewes notched up their second win of the season, 3-0 against Denham Utd thanks to Mia Hyland, Ava Rowbotham and Natasha Wells.
Manchester City have gone two points clear at the top of the FA WSL Development League Northern Division after winning 5-0 away to Aston Villa. They lead from Sunderland who went second with a 3-1 victory over Birmingham City, Louise Griffiths, Bridget Galloway and Georgia Gibson scoring their goals with Anna Linden replying. Elizabeth Earle and Annabel Blanchard were on target as Liverpool won for the first time, 2-0 against Everton.
Onyi Echegini hit a hat-trick as Millwall Lionesses remained on top of the Southern Division with a 6-2 success away to Tottenham Hotspur. Lucy Fitzgerald (2) and Freya Bailes added Millwall's other goals, with Shawna Harvey and Lauren George replying. Arsenal stay one point behind, they won 5-1 at Reading FC Women thanks to Shannon Cooke, Ava Kukyen, Jessica Ngunga, Gabriella Ravenscroft anf Tamsyn Sibanda. Bristol City are also a single point off the pace after they defeated Chelsea 3-1 with goals from Holly Chandler, Yana Daniels and Chloe Gilroy and London Bees were 5-1 winners over Watford, Bolu Fisher netting twice along with Casey Chapman, Anya Kinnane and Connie Forman.
