The last round of matches were played in SWPL 2 and Forfar Farmington ended their successful campaign on a winning note, beating Jeanfield Swifts 4-0.
Danni McGinley gave them a first half lead and after the break, Kayleigh Noble extended their advantage before McGinley netted her second and Beth Shillitto rounded off the scoring. The victorious Forfar side were presented with the league trophy following the game.
Second place was on offer as Glasgow Girls met Motherwell and it was Glasgow who went one better than last season's third place finish as they triumphed 3-0. Gillian Sloey opened the scoring on the half hour and they went on to crown the win after the break with further goals from Kirsty MacDonald and Lauren Evans.
Edinburgh University Hutchison Vale secured themselves a top half finish with a 2-1 victory over Hearts, a goal in each half from Beth McLeod and Anna Hume giving them a result which meant they ended up a single point behind Motherwell in fourth.
The two teams set to be relegated met each other in the final match and it was East Fife who won 4-2 against Buchan Ladies. Buchan did go into a two-goal lead during the first half but after the interval, East Fife hit back to take the points thanks to a Teri Skivington hat-trick and Liz Corke.
