The FA Women's Premier League was just as badly affected by the weather as the others, with just two matches managing to go ahead on Sunday.
South East Division One
One of the top league games of the day was one of those which survived, the top of the table clash in South East Division One and it was AFC Wimbledon who extended their lead to five points after beating second placed Leyton Orient 3-0.
In the first of two scheduled meetings in successive weeks, Wimbledon led at half time through a goal from Katie Stanley, before Jordanne Atkins added a second six minutes into the second half and Kelly-Jade Whelan wrapped up the win with the third goal.
Premier League Plate
All matches in the Premier League Cup fell victim to the weather but one was played in the Premier League Plate, Hull City winning 1-0 against Newcastle Utd.
Rachael Ackroyd scored the only goal of the game as Hull became the first team to book their place in the quarter finals.
