East Midlands League Premier Division side Oughtibridge (pictured) maintained their unbeaten record for the season with a 2-1 home win over Sheffield United. Oughtibridge's goals came from the regular sources of Codi Melia and Lauren Turner. Nat Shaw netted for United.
The aforementioned pair played at the same level of the pyramid last season and given Oughtibridge's fine form this season, the outcome was not as big a shock as the tie at Harworth Colliery where the hosts, who play in Sheffield & Hallamshire County League Division One, ran out 4-1 winners over Steel City Wanderers. Lucy Farrow (2), Rachel Mullen and Jasmine Saxton were on target for Harworth. Cheryl Mawhood scored for Steels for whom Lucy Smith's 400th appearance did not have the outcome one might have anticipated.
Barnsley reserves, for whom Monique Barnes and Lauryn Wilcock scored, were edged out 3-2 at Wakefield, while Rovers Foundation proved far too strong for Sheffield Wednesday Development 18-2 in the two other ties completed.
