Millwall Lionesses narrowed the gap on WSL 2 leaders Doncaster Rovers Belles to a single point and maintained their unbeaten start to the season as they defeated Tottenham Hotspur 4-1.
Millwall made a flying start to the game and were ahead with just three minutes on the clock when Amber Gaylor rose highest to head in a free kick by Billie Brooks.
Tottenham did come close to equalising shortly before half time when a Renee Hector header was cleared off the line but nine minutes into the second half, they were back on level terms when Sarah Wiltshire volleyed home from a pass by Coral-Jade Haines.
The goal seemed to spark Millwall back into life though and shortly after Ashlee Hincks had struck the post with a free kick, Charlotte Devlin curled home a shot to restore their lead.
Devlin then netted her second to put her side in a strong position with six minutes remaining and Megan Wynne rounded off a good day for the Lionesses when she slotted home the fourth goal in injury time.
