Birmingham City brought their winless run to an end on Sunday when they won 2-0 against Bristol City in their re-arranged WSL 1 fixture at Solihull.
The Blues had not scored in any of their previous three league matches but seven minutes into the second half, they broke their duck when Aoife Mannion slotted home from the penalty spot after Caitlin Leach was adjudged to have brought down Sarah Mayling.
Before the Vixens were able to recover, they found themselves two behind as a cross by Marisa Ewers was forced home at the far post by Charlie Wellings.
The result means that Birmingham are now level on points with Bristol City but move above them on goal difference.
