Huddersfield peg back Leicester
 Women's Football WPL North News - 17 Jan 2018
League leaders Middlesbrough are likely to be the happiest team with the result of a 1-1 draw between their two nearest rivals in the table, Huddersfield Town and Leicester City Women.
Paige Crossman gave second placed Leicester a first half lead with Huddersfield hitting back to earn themselves a share of the spoils via a goal on the half hour from Brittany Sanderson.
Stoke City meanwhile consolidated their place in the top four by running out 6-2 winners away to Bradford City. Hannah Keryakoplis had a great day in front of goal for Stoke, netting twice inside the opening twelve minutes and going on to score four times in all. Ashleigh Hayes and Emily Owen were Stoke's other markswomen whilst Bradford replied with first half strikes from Abigail Lee and Hannah Smith.
