Unlike the senior divisions, the Reserve Section of the FA Women's Premier League did see matches, albeit a reduced number, played in all three divisions.
Blackburn Rovers have consolidated their position at the top of the Northern Division, extending their lead to six points following their 3-0 success away to Guiseley Vixens. All three goals came in the first half, Hannah Walsh giving Rovers an eighth minute lead before Georgia Stevens secured the win with a brace.
In the Midland Division, Cardiff City Ladies notched up a 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest in the only match to be played. Ffion Price, Jasmine Turner and Ffiur Williams were all on the scoresheet for Cardiff, with Charlotte Moffat replying.
The top of the table clash in the Southern Division went the way of Charlton Athletic, who defeated leaders Portsmouth 5-2 to close the gap on them to two points. Lauren Parsons, Florence Jackson, Maisie Joyce, Ellie Jeffkins and Georgia Griffin all scored a goal apiece for the Addicks, while Pompey's replies came from Jessica Burke and Zoe Ridley. C & K Basildon move up into third following their 5-0 victory away to Lewes. Tilly Deacon, Jodie Osborne, Danielle Sillitoe and Sophie Rhodes were all on the scoresheet along with an own goal. The other game to be played produced an astonishing result as West Ham Utd and AFC Wimbledon shared a total of SIXTEEN goals between them! Zoe Swift hit a hat-trick for the Hammers along with Esme Lancaster, Kelly Weathall, Georgia Miller, Belle Shannon and Stephaney Bent - which would be plenty for victory under normal circumstances but on this occasion, Wimbledon earned themselves a share of the spoils thanks to a Sophie Manzi hat-trick, Hayley Clark, Jessica Drage, Rosie Russell, Georgia Heasman and Megan Smith.
