Villa make new home at Boldmere
 Women's Football WSL2 News - 26 Jan 2018
Following the FA announcement that Aston Villa Ladies have been awarded a Women's Super League licence for the 2018-19 season, the club are pleased to announce they will be playing their home games at Boldmere St Michaels FC from next season.
The ‘Mikes' Trevor Brown Memorial Ground is a previous home to Aston Villa Ladies and is conveniently located just four miles from Villa Park. The club has recently upgraded the playing surface to a new 3G pitch, with ambitious plans in place to further develop the stadium facilities.
Aston Villa Chief Executive, Keith Wyness, said: "Central to our strategy for developing the ladies team has been the desire to bring the them back to Birmingham to play their home games. The partnership with Boldmere St Michaels is an exciting one as they are an ambitious and well respected club, close to Villa Park.
"We would like to place on record our thanks to Tamworth FC for hosting the Ladies teams in the last few years and look forward to maintaining a positive relationship with them for the remainder of this season and beyond."
