Charlton increase advantage
 Women's Football WPL South News - 1 Feb 2018
Charlton Athletic restored their lead of five points at the top of the Southern Division after scoring nine times without reply away to Swindon Town.
Charlotte Gurr gave the Addicks a second minute lead and she went on to bag herself a four-goal haul in all, along with one apiece from Charley Clifford, Olivia Lukasewich, Georgia Griffin and Kit Graham with an own goal making up the tally.
Second placed Crystal Palace lost a little ground as they went down to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of C & K Basildon, who move level on points with them. Angela Addison netted her tenth goal of the season and the solitary strike of the game to give C & K their sixth successive league win.
West Ham Utd leapfrogged Cardiff City Ladies in the table after beating them 6-2 in their meeting. Rosie Kmita and Ellie Zoepfl netted two goals apiece for the Hammers along with Kelly Weathall and Chloe Burr, while Kelly Isaac and Estelle Randall replied for the home side.
