Bolton Wanderers are through to the semi finals of the Reserve Section League Cup after they won 1-0 away to Huddersfield Town. Emma Pilling scored the only goal of the game for Bolton on the hour mark. Stoke City meanwhile defeated Derby County 5-2, Emily Curteis netting a brace along with Ella Pemberton, Lucy Ridgway and Roisin Kivel. Portsmouth are the third team into the last four after beating Crystal Palace 5-1, Charmaine True bagged a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by Emma-Jane May and Kayleigh Tonks.
 
With Middlesbrough not in action, Blackburn Rovers took the opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the Northern Division to twelve points when Hannah Walsh and Georgia Stevens gave them a 2-0 victory over Guiseley Vixens. Newcastle Utd meanwhile moved back into the top three by winning 3-1 away to Sheffield Utd, thanks to a goal apiece from Courtney Dack, Abbie Gilchrist and Amy Hargrave.
 
Leicester City Women have extended their Midland Division lead to eight points after they won 5-0 against Burton Albion, Shannon Henson and Georgia Gibson each netting twice along with Gabriella Foulkes. Loughbrough Foxes went third with a 5-1 victory over Sporting Khalsa and Long Eaton Utd were 2-1 winners at Nottingham Forest with strikes from Ellie Sims and Cala Thornton.
 
Southern Division leaders Charlton Athletic went down to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Milton Keynes Dons, for whom Amy Gooderham (2), Florence Hobbs and Sarah Payne were on target. Sophie Manzi and Bernice Tully netted the goals as AFC Wimbledon beat Lewes 2-1 to leapfrog them in the table.
 
The quarter finals of the FA WSL Development League Cup took centre stage and Northern Division leaders Manchester City swept into the last four with a 3-0 victory over Liverpool. Birmingham City produced a fine result to beat Sheffield Utd 3-0, Shania Hayles netted twice along with Heidi Logan. Brogan Moore (2) and Kate Wiseman were on the scoresheet as Reading FC Women won 3-1 against Millwall Lionesses and Chelsea defeated London Bees 11-1, Nicole Douglas leading the scoring with a seven-goal haul. Olivia Smith contributed a brace and there was one apiece from Charlotte Flemming and Maddison Phillips.
