Huddersfield Town have closed to within three points of Northern Division leaders Middlesbrough after they defeated Nottingham Forest 4-0.
All of the goals came during the first half, Kate Mallin giving Town the lead with six minutes on the clock and Emily Heckler added a quickfire double, before Lucy Sowerby netted the fourth just after the half hour. The win greatly boosts Huddersfield's chances of a top three place although they are running out of matches with regards to a title challenge.
Guiseley Vixens picked up a valuable point when holding mid-table Derby County to a 2-2 draw. However, it was nearly even better for Guiseley as, after Andi Bell had given Derby a first half lead, they hit back after the break and led through goals from Fiona Worts and Debbie Hastings until Bell salvaged a point for her side in injury time when she netted her second on the day.
