Glasgow City held onto the leadership of SWPL 1 with a hard fought 1-0 victory over Hamilton Academical.
Abbi Grant marked her first call up for the senior Scotland squad by scoring the only goal of the game in the thirteenth minute, City going on to extend their remarkable run of clean sheets which stretches back to last May.
The table already has a familiar look about it with just two games played, Hibernian occupying second place after winning 2-0 away to newly promoted Forfar Farmington. The home side had opened up with a win in their previous game but this time, after a goalless first half, it was Hibs who took the points with goals from Amy Gallacher and Katey Turner, both of whom scored against their former club.
Celtic stay unbeaten but are in third after being held to a 1-1 draw by Stirling University, who registered their first point of the season. The two goals came in the opening five minutes of the match, Katy Morris giving Stirling an early lead which was cancelled out shortly afterwards by Heather Richards.
Rangers meanwhile bounced back from an opening day defeat to win 2-1 against Spartans, who are still looking for their first points. Carla Boyce put Rangers in front just before half time, with Michelle Russell equalising for Spartans midway through the second half. The game looked to be heading towards a draw but in the dying minutes, Rangers were awarded a penalty which Chelsie Watson converted to secure her side's first win.
