Georgia's cracker completes City comeback
 Women's Football WSL1 News - 28 Feb 2018
Manchester City came from two goals behind to draw 2-2 with Chelsea and keep the gap at one point at the top of WSL 1.
However Chelsea will only have themselves to blame after spurning a series of chances during the course of the game.
Chelsea went ahead with six minutes on the clock when the home defence were unable to clear a corner and Millie Bright rifled the ball home from close range.
Emma Hayes' side then went two ahead as Crystal Dunn set up Ji So-Yun to find the corner of the net with a neat finish from the edge of the area.
It could have been three as Ji set up Fran Kirby who took one touch too many and was crowded out, Chelsea staying on top for the remainder of the half and taking their two-goal lead into the break.
Man City needed a good start to the second half and it came within four minutes from the restart, Demi Stokes breaking down the left and crossing for Nikita Parris to head in at the far post.
The better of the chances continued to go Chelsea's way though, with Bright heading wide from point blank range at a corner and Dunn blazed wildly over the bar when through on goal with only Ellie Roebuck to beat.
At the other end, City missed a glorious chance of their own when Parris stabbed wide from six yards out but with only four minutes remaining, they were celebrating a superb equaliser when Jill Scott laid off for Georgia Stanway to crash an unstoppable shot into the top corner from 20 yards to salvage a point for her side.
