East Midlands League
Leicester City Women Development are through to the semi finals of the League Cup after they won 4-2 against Oughtibridge. Gabriella Reid netted a hat-trick and Courtney Cropper the other for Leicester whilst Oughtibridge, unbeaten in the league, replied through Kathryn Mudge and Becky Shaw. Eastwood Town ran out 5-1 winners away to Corby Town with Courtney Walters scoring all five goals, including a four-goal blast during extra time. Hayley Brown almost matched her feat as she found the net four times for Calverton MW, who were 4-3 victors at Loughborough Foxes Vixens, but Emma Dunmore topped them both by scoring seven goals for Northampton Town as they beat Arnold Town Development 9-0, Sara Wait and an own goal completing the tally.
Woodlands Ladies booked their place in the League Plate semi finals with a 6-1 victory over fellow Division One North side Lincoln Moorlands Railway, Jody Scott was on target four times and she was joined on the scoresheet by Ella Monks and Chloe Scott. Oadby & Wigston Dynamo meanwhile defeated Thrapston Town by the same scoreline thanks to Emma Aspinall (2), Lucy Phillips-Poole (2), Sophie Tew and an own goal.
With the top two in the Premier Division meeting each other in the League Cup, Peterborough Northern Star took the opportunity to narrow the gap on them with a 2-0 win away to Loughborough Students, Emma Pollard and Cassie Steward scoring their goals. Amy Dawson, Shannon Ryan and Beth Wilcockson were the markswomen for Mansfield Hosiery Mills as they beat Arnold Town 3-2 and the meeting between Mansfield Town and Kettering Town ended goalless.
In the solitary match played in Division One North, Market Warsop were 1-0 winners over Clifton with Kelly Clayton-Cuthbert scoring the only goal of the game.
Heather LFC have climbed off the bottom of the table in Division One South following their 3-2 victory against Corby S & L. Rebecca Dobney netted twice and Elise Baxter the other for Heather, with Corby replying through an Abby Callaghan double.
Eastern Region League
Hope Strauss scored the only goal of the game as Billericay Town defeated Wymondham Town 1-0 in the quarter finals of the League Cup. Billericay were the only team to reach the semi finals with a victory in open play as both of the other ties went all the way to penalties, AFC Dunstable getting past AFC Sudbury after their match finished goalless and Brentwood Town winning against Bedford Ladies following a 1-1 draw.
Abigail Davies hit a hat-trick and Katie Segrave added the other goal as Histon beat Hertford Town 4-0 to secure their place in the League Plate semi finals. The clash between the top two in Division One South was taken to extra time before Stevenage Ladies Res emerged as 3-0 winners over Little Thurrock Dynamos. Hannah Marshall (2) and Emma Marshall scored the goals for Stevenage. Hoddesdon Town Owls came away from Bishop's Stortford with a 3-1 victory under their belts, Kristina O'Connell (2) and Hannah Kelly were their scorers.
In the only match to be played in the Premier Division, Writtle moved up into fourth place with a 3-0 victory over Colney Heath. Leanne Stubbings, Georgina Tricker and Amy Simmons were all on target for Writtle.
Ipswich Town Development recorded their fourth victory of the season in Division One North, scoring eight times without reply past Silver End Utd.
London & South East League
The top two did not play over the weekend and third placed London Kent Football Utd were held to a 3-3 draw by Aylesford. Niamh Jestin was on target twice for Aylesford, with Rebecca Barr adding the other goal. Parkwood Rangers follow on after goals from Jamie Leigh Dixon and Jade Whiteman gave them a 2-0 win away to Eastbourne Town. Fulham FC Foundation are up into mid-table after beating Watford Development 4-0, Chelcee Grimes netting a brace along with Tia-Rae Scott-Coleman and Amber Walker.
North East League
Norton & Stockton Ancients are through to the quarter finals of the League Cup after scoring nine times without reply past Wallsend Boys Club. Nyci Thorns led the scoring with a six-goal haul and also on target were Victoria Hutchinson, Anna Mawston and Sian Williams. Shirley Murphy grabbed the only goal of the game as Farsley Celtic beat Harrogate Railway 1-0 and York City were 2-1 winners over Boldon CA Villa thanks to a double from Lucy Lendhill. South Shields are also through to the last eight, they triumphed 3-1 at Consett Ladies with goals from Paige Lester (2) and Laura Howe.
With Norton & Stockton Ancients on League Cup duty, Durham Cestria took the opportunity to further extend their lead in the Premier Division to fourteen points with a 7-0 victory away to Wakefield. Jenny Bitzer hit a hat-trick for the leaders, with Sophie Hodgson (2), Molly Holder and Hannah Greenwood accounting for the other goals. Hartlepool Utd defeated Tynedale 7-2 and this takes them up to second, Jenni Duffy-Smith and Lucy Hammond-Garrington each netting twice along with Caitlin Bates, Faye Garside and Jade Pye.
In the Northern Division, Boro Rangers notched up a 6-0 win at Guisborough Ladies to move up into second place. Alex Hodgson and Robina Todd each bagged braces with Sophie Mitton and Larissa Burkinshaw adding the others. Lauren Robson scored four times, Jade Anderson and Megan Tighe adding singles as Blyth Lions also won 6-0 against Prudhoe Town and goals from Sarah Fairlamb and Emma Graham earned Cramlington Utd a 2-1 victory over York RI, who replied through Jodie Langstaff.
Harrogate Town continue to close in on the Southern Division title after they scored twelve times without reply past Doncaster Belles (Women's). Jade Pennock, Sophie Tinson and Rachael White all hit hat-tricks, Grace Adams weighed in with a brace and Hannah Bowe was also on target.
North West League
FC United of Manchester produced a superb result in beating Premier Division high fliers Merseyrail Bootle 3-0 and booking their place in the semi finals of the Argyle Sports Cup. Burnley Girls & Ladies join them in the semi finals following an extra time 3-1 win over Fleetwood Town Wrens and CMB Ladies, who are yet to win a league game this season, are also through after beating Sir Tom Finney 6-3. Altrincham meanwhile won 2-1 in the delayed Second Round tie with West Didsbury & Chorlton to set up a quarter final tie against Stockport County.
Curzon Ashton scored ten times without reply against Bolton Wanderers Res and this has taken them through to the Argyle Sports Plate semi finals. Crewe Alexandra Development ran out 9-1 winners over Burscough Dynamo and Liverpool Marshalls Feds Res are the other team into the last four after they defeated Stockport County Blues 5-3.
Stockport County were beaten for the first time this season in the Premier Division, they went down 3-2 at the hands of Wigan Athletic, who move up to third as a result. This has resulted in a change of leadership with Tranmere Rovers going back to the top after winning 3-0 away to Blackpool. MSB Woolton were 2-1 winners over Blackburn Community whilst Accrington Girls & Ladies and Manchester Stingers finished level at 1-1.
In Division One North, Cammell Laird won 2-0 against Preston North End to narrow the gap on leaders Penrith AFC to ten points. Bury FC Women are a further point adrift following their 2-0 success away to Morecambe Res. Carlisle Utd climbed up to fifth, their highest position of the season so far, with a 6-1 success away to Leigh RMI.
No matches were played in Division One South over the weekend.
South West League
Three teams now sit level on points at the top of the Premier Division and these include Torquay Utd, who were unable to take an opportunity to lead by themselves when they were held to a goalless draw by Keynsham Town Development. Megan Purchase meanwhile scored the only goal of the game for Ilminster Town in their 1-0 win away to Downend Flyers. AEK Boco are off the bottom of the table following their 2-2 draw with Forest Green Rovers, Ellie Keedwell scoring both goals for Boco and Holly Thomas bagging a brace in reply.
Wootton Bassett Town remain four points clear in the Eastern Division after they defeated St Nicholas Res 4-0, courtesy of doubles from Laura Gammon and Hayley Huckin. Portishead Town are one of the chasing teams and kept up their challenge by beating Cheltenham Civil Service 3-0 with goals from Ruby Lowe (2) and Hannah Thornton. Almondsbury maintained their hopes by scoring six times without reply against Oldland Abbotonians, Rhianne Oakley hitting a hat-trick and Faye Gilbert a brace, with an own goal completing the tally.
In the Western Division, Exeter & Tedburn Rangers won for only the second time this season, 1-0 away to Activate thanks to a goal from Sam Burnham.
* On Wednesday night, Exeter City went back into fourth place, above Ilminster Town, when they won 4-2 against Bishop's Lydeard.
Southern Region League
League leaders Chesham Utd made it twelve wins out of twelve when scoring seven times without reply past Winchester City Flyers. Gemma Fraser netted five times along with Kate Bowers and Aoife Harding as Chesham's title charge gathered further momentum. Second placed New Milton Town drew 1-1 away to Newbury Ladies, whose goal came from Gemma Burnett, and Milton Keynes City ran out 4-1 winners over Shanklin.
The Jubilee Cup continued with more group matches and Group A sees AFC Bournemouth moved further ahead, going eight points clear with a 7-1 victory over Southampton Women Res. Chloe Tape led the scoring with a four-goal haul, Terri Harvey added two and Sian Tilly was also on target. Woodley Utd maintained their 100% record in Group B when Madelyn Sawyer scored the only goal of the game against Winchester City Flyers Res and Warsash Wasps defeated Oxford City Nomads 12-1 to go second. Megan Fox hit a hat-trick, Nicolle Keen and Justine Hammond weighed in with braces and there was one apiece from Danielle Cheyney, Keeley Fitzgerald, Heather Lewis, Emily Osborne and Sophie Beacon.
West Midlands League
Leafield Athletic kept up their title challenge with an 8-1 victory over Wolverhampton Sporting and this result leaves them seven points behind leaders Bedworth Utd and four points in front of Crusaders, who were 2-1 winners away to Coundon Court. Stockingford AA Pavilion took three points from their encounter against a sporting and extremely hospitable Leamington Lions side. Amanda Turnbull scored a hat-trick with Sharni Turnbull (2), Catherine Smith (2), Hannah Morris, Jessica SÚvellec and Amy Cooper accounting for the other goals.
In Division One North, Sutton Coldfield Town conceded their first points of the season when battling out a 2-2 draw with Leek Town. Sutton Coldfield are a point ahead of Goldenhill Wanderers with Leek a further point behind in third.
Division One South table toppers Redditch Utd also drew, sharing four goals with Solihull Sporting and their lead has been halved to two points by Gornal Ladies who scored eight without reply against Rugby Town. Kidderminster Harriers ran out 5-1 winners over Solihull Utd to keep up their challenge for a top three place.
Droitwich Spa became the latest side to make it through to the quarter finals of the Division One South Cup, thanks to a 3-1 victory away to Coventry Development.
