Leicester City Ladies have made it to the Final of the Premier League Cup for the first time in their history following their 4-2 victory over Lewes on Sunday.
The Rookettes went into the game in good form and took a tenth minute lead through Amy Taylor but Leigh Dugmore and Holly Morgan scored in quick succession to put Leicester ahead going into half time. Sophie Domingo then netted twice inside the opening seven minutes of the second half to send her side into a position which they never relinquished, despite Sarah Kempson grabbing a consolation for Lewes in injury time.
Leicester must wait and see who their opponents in the Final will be as the other semi final between Blackburn Rovers and Coventry Utd fell victim to the weather.
