Belles still stretching pace
 Women's Football WSL2 News - 28 Mar 2018
Doncaster Rovers Belles power on at the top of FA WSL 2 after running out 3-0 winners over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Belles took the lead through Kirsty Hanson just after the half hour and Rebecca Rayner made it two following a corner, ten minutes into the second half. Jess Sigsworth crowned the win for Doncaster when she powered home an unstoppable shot from 30 yards with eight minutes remaining.
Millwall Lionesses remain three points off the pace following their 4-2 success away to Oxford Utd. Rianna Dean bagged a brace to put Millwall two ahead with 34 minutes on the clock, Kayleigh Hines reducing the arrears before half time. Charlotte Devlin then netted two second half goals to seal the points for her side, with Chloe Chivers netting a late consolation for the U's.
Brighton & Hove Albion climbed back into third place by winning 4-1 at Sheffield FC. The Seagulls led at half time through a goal from Ini Umotong, with Kate Natkiel and Aileen Whelan adding further strikes after the break. Danielle Buet scored the fourth from the penalty spot before the home side grabbed a late consolation, also through a penalty, from Emma Johnson.
Aston Villa meanwhile claimed their second league win of the season when defeating Watford 3-0. Alice Hassall gave them an early lead and Jodie Hutton added a second, shortly after half time. Beth Merrick wrapped up the victory for her side when she completed the scoring, fifteen minutes from time.
