Blackburn Rovers booked their place in the Final after getting the better of Coventry Utd in a penalty shootout, after the sides had battled out a 2-2 draw.
Coventry had been two ahead at one stage, thanks to goals either side of half time from Keeley Davies and Helen Dermody, but Blackburn came battling back with Saffron Jordan reducing the arrears and Jordan was to score a second in injury time, to send the game into the extra period.
Those extra 30 minutes could not produce a goal and this took it to penalties, where Rovers goalkeeper Danielle Hill was the heroine for her side by saving three kicks as they triumphed 3-2 from the spot.
Blackburn will therefore play Leicester City Women in the Final on Sunday 29th April, at a venue to be announced.
