East Midlands League
Northampton Town caused an upset in the League Cup semi finals with a 2-1 victory over Premier Division leaders Leicester City Women Development. Emma Dunmore scored both goals, including a late winner for the Division One South side as they came back to win and their opponents in the Final will be Eastwood Ladies, who defeated Calverton MW 2-1 thanks to Charlotte Tattam and Courtney Walters.
Cassie Steward scored twice along with Vicky Gallagher and Paige Jones for Peterborough Northern Star who beat Woodlands Ladies 4-2 after extra time in the semi finals of the League Plate. Also through are Oadby & Wigston Dynamo, 1-0 winners over Rise Park with a first half own goal separating the teams.
Nettleham stepped up their title challenge in the Premier Division by scoring eight times without reply past Arnold Town. Rebecca Hornsey bagged a hat-trick with doubles from Annie Ward and Courtney Limb, an own goal rounding off the scoring. Kettering Town meanwhile defeated Mansfield Town 4-0 with Mikaela Welford (2), Sam Christie and Sophie Till on the scoresheet.
Division One North leaders Hykeham Town did not play and their advantage has been trimmed to five points by Lincoln Moorlands Railway, who won 2-1 at Sleaford Town thanks to Joanna Jenkinson-Wagstaff and Hayley McCabe. Sue Green (2), Lisa Cromey and Scarlet Woods were the scorers as Grimsby Borough edged out Arnold Town Development 4-3. Lucy Ferris and Rebecca Turgoose scored the goals for Draycott Victoria in their 2-2 draw with Market Warsop, who replied through a brace from Kelly Clayton-Cuthbert.
Thrapston Town have moved up to fourth place in Division One South after they defeated Corby Town 3-1. Desford were 2-1 winners away to Corby S & L with goals from Terri Chamberlain and Caz Toone.
Eastern Region League
Cambridge City saw their title chances take a huge blow when they were beaten 5-2 by Bedford Ladies, who move up to fourth place. Eden Kibron and Olivia-Rose Cunningham each scored twice, with Catalina Costas adding the other. Georgia Holdaway was on target for Brentwood Town in their 1-1 draw with AFC Dunstable, whose reply came from Bianca Vassell. Becky Shephard and Hayley Graham netted the goals for Royston Town in their 2-0 victory over Colney Heath.
Wymondham Town look to be closing in on the Division One North title, going four points clear at the top with a 3-0 success at Silver End Utd, Hannah Waters scoring a hat-trick. A win could have taken Histon into the top three but they were held to a goalless draw by Ipswich Town Development.
In Division One South, Harlow Town narrowed the gap on leaders Stevenage Ladies Res to nine points by winning 5-1 away to Bishop's Stortford. Lily Bruno and Hannah Clifford each netted twice, with Abbey Dell also on target. Little Thurrock Dynamos lost ground when they went down to a Lisa Kline goal against Hertford Town. Hutton also won 1-0 against Hoddesdon Town Owls, thanks to a strike from Katie Lowen.
London & South East League
In the only match to be played in the league on Sunday, Aylesford consolidated themselves in mid-table with a 3-2 victory over Eastbourne Town. Beth Hulme netted twice and Rebecca Barr the other for Aylesford, with Catherine Hyland and Georgia Tibble replying.
North East League
Norton & Stockton Ancients were the winners in the top of the table clash against Durham Cestria and, although Durham still lead the table by nine points, Norton have five games in hand. Nyci Thorns netted twice for Norton along with Victoria Hutchinson and Kate McSorley, while Molly Holder and Sophie Hodgson responded for Durham. Hartlepool Utd follow on in third after their 7-2 victory at Wallsend Boys Club. Caitlin Bates led the scoring with a four-goal haul, Lucy Hammond-Garrington weighed in with a double and Jessica Dawson was also on target. Christine Murray (2), Megan Watson (2) and Ashley Lambert accounted for the goals as Tynedale edged out Wakefield by the odd goal in nine.
Sophie Halliday bagged a brace and Natalie Beswick the other for Northern Division leaders South Shields in their 3-1 win away to Consett Ladies. Boldon CA Villa stay two points behind in second place after Elizabeth Thompson-Clarke scored the only goal in their victory over Prudhoe Town. Cramlington Utd ran out 3-0 winners at Blyth Lions, courtesy of strikes from Chloe Roylance (2) and Rachel Best.
In the Southern Division, Amy Beck scored both goals for Sheffield Wednesday who were 2-1 winners over newly crowned Champions Harrogate Town, whose consolation came from Hannah Bowe.
North West League
In-form Wigan Athletic stepped up their title challenge with a 5-0 victory away to Blackburn Community and they are up into second place, one point behind leaders Tranmere Rovers who did not play. Burnley Girls & Ladies were held to a 1-1 draw by MSB Woolton, whilst Fleetwood Town Wrens and Merseyrail Bootle also finished level at 1-1. Sir Tom Finney ran out 4-1 winners at Accrington Girls & Ladies and CMB Ladies recorded their first league victory of the season, 2-1 against Manchester Stingers, and they are off the bottom of the table.
Penrith AFC have had their lead cut in Division One North to four points by Bury FC Women, who defeated Leigh RMI 6-0. Cammell Laird kept themselves very much in the title race as they won 3-2 away to Workington Reds, they stay in third place, just above Carlisle Utd who were 5-1 victors at Bolton Wanderers Res. Preston North End meanwhile maintained their climb up the table and away from danger as they recorded a second successive victory, 6-2 against Morecambe Res.
In Division One South, West Didsbury & Chorlton are up to second following their 5-1 win against Crewe Alexandra Development, on goal difference ahead of Liverpool Marshalls Feds Res who battled out a 2-2 draw with Altrincham. Warrington Wolverines follow on after beating Stockport County Blues 3-1 and elsewhere, Northwich Vixens were 6-2 winners over City of Liverpool.
South West League
Torquay Utd were held to a goalless draw by Exeter City and this means they trail leaders Buckland Athletic by two points with Marine Academy Plymouth a further point adrift following their 4-0 success at Middlezoy Rovers, Sam Drewery netting twice along with Ellie Bishop and Jaydee Seaman. Ilminster Town defeated Keynsham Town Development 4-2 to go fourth, Erin Bloomfield hitting a hat-trick and Charlotte Pettinger adding the other, with Rhianna Ben-Carew and Lucy Bidgood replying. Bishop's Lydeard scored six times without reply past AEK Boco and Forest Green Rovers defeated Downend Flyers 8-1, Marika Niekuwal spearheading the win with a four-goal haul and Annie Martin hit a hat-trick, with Gabriella Davis completing the scoring.
Portishead Town became the first team to take points off Wootton Bassett Town in the Eastern Division and both teams remain unbeaten following an evenly contested 1-1 draw. Lisa Coe gave Bassett a first half lead which was cancelled out after the break by Taylor Gainey and both teams also hit the woodwork as they shared the points. Swindon Spitfires also shared a 1-1 draw with FC Chippenham, goals coming from Katie Wadey and Kathryn Kilgour respectively. Team Mendip meanwhile ran out 5-1 winners over Cheltenham Town Development and are looking set for a top half finish.
Plymouth Argyle Development have gone level on points with Western Division leaders Callington Town after Gabi Alphous (2), Faye Ivall (2) and Hayley Ranachan all scored in their 5-1 victory away to Bude Town. Laura Burwood netted the only goal of the game as third placed Alphington beat Exeter & Tedburn Rangers 1-0 and Plympton Ladies were 4-2 winners over Newquay Celtic thanks to a Sam Metters brace, Billie Swan and Victoria Jasper.
Southern Region League
Oxford City closed in on the top two with a 5-3 victory away to Ascot Utd. Mollie Dyer and Lauren May were each on target twice along with Tiana Russell-Cartwright. Bethany Norman (2), Charlie Snelling and Francesca Thornton accounted for the goals as Winchester City Flyers won 4-2 at Milton Keynes City.
Woodley Utd are the new leaders of Division One Northern following their 3-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers, courtesy of a Rosie Page-Smith double and Jodie Penny. Woodley head the table on goal difference from Wargrave Ladies, who beat Oxford City Nomads 4-2 thanks to a Millie Bilcliff hat-trick and Hannah Sheehan.
Barton Rovers have booked their place in the quarter finals of the Jubilee Cup after they ran out 8-2 winners away to Southampton Women Res. Rachel Allwright, Phoebe Cole, Amelia Sargent and Cheryl Williams all scored twice for Barton.
West Midlands League
Bedworth Utd are continuing to stretch the pace in the Premier Division, their 8-1 victory over Lye Town keeping them seven points clear of second placed Leafield Athletic, who won 3-0 at Coundon Court. Kingshurst Sporting Club netted seven times without reply past Worcester Utd and Wolverhampton Sporting triumphed 3-0 away to Knowle.
In Division One North, Sutton Coldfield Town beat Florence 5-1 to preserve their lead of two points from Leek Town, who ran out 6-1 winners at Brereton Town. Goldenhill Wanderers still sport a 100% record in third, which they maintained with a 3-1 victory over Atherstone Rangers.
There was a change of leadership in Division One South where Gornal Ladies won 3-0 against Stourbridge to take over at the top from Redditch Utd, who did not play. Kidderminster Harriers kept up their good run of form by beating Rugby Town 12-1 and they stay in third, although they are running out of games. Coventry Sphinx stayed in touch with a 4-2 victory over Solihull Sporting and there was better news for Solihull Utd as they won 2-1 away to Droitwich Spa.
